ABOUT
Brian is STG's Tax Credits and Incentives Principal. Since 2011, as a State and Federal Tax Credit Specialist, Brian has been responsible for tax credit savings for hundreds of companies. He is an expert on Federal Tax Credits such as the Research and Development Tax Credit (R&D), Work Opportunity Tax Credit, Indian Employment Tax Credit, and Empowerment Zone Tax Credit.

In addition, Brian has led teams that have completed thousands of state tax credits such as the Ohio Research and Development Tax Credit, the Georgia Research and Development Tax Credit, Georgia Retraining Tax Credit, Georgia Jobs Tax Credit, Georgia Quality Jobs Tax Credit, Georgia Investment Tax Credit, Tennessee Industrial Machinery Tax Credit, the Tennessee Job Tax Credit.

In June, 2023 Brian achieved the Certified Credits and Incentives Professional (CCIP) designation through the Institute of Professionals of Taxation (IPT), becoming the 39th Certified Member of the program.

Brian currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Meghan and two daughters, Emerson and Adelyn.
